Rev. Hosokawa Taitoku, the Abbot of Kojo-ji Temple in Takao town, Tokyo, Japan visited Europe from 24th Feb for two weeks. He was invited as Jokeshi, an advisor for the Hodoshi (the head priest during the Kessei-Ango, the 90-day intensive practice in a Soto Zen monastery) at the Kessei ceremonies at Zen River, Netherlands on Feb 25th, La Gendronniere, Fance on 29th, and Fudenji, Italy on March 3rd.
On 29th Feb 2012, Rev. Strim Genshin (Dojo Zen du Chatelet, France) and Rev. Neuman Muna (Da Dojo, Germany) were appointed as Kokusai Fukyoshi by Sotoshu.
Kokusai Fukyoshi refers to the missionary priests outside of Japan, officially appointed by Institution of Soto Zen Japan.
